Egg Production Facility – CCTV Installation

Ross Strelau contacted Dyfed CCTV again after previously being very pleased with the CCTV systems we installed at his home, farm and egg production business.
Following the success of those installations, Ross asked us to design and install a full CCTV system at his egg production factory in Market Drayton, Shropshire, to improve security and monitoring across the facility.
Due to the scale of the site and the number of buildings and working areas involved, a modern IP CCTV system was required that could provide clear coverage across both internal and external areas of the production facility.
Solution
Following the site survey, we designed and installed a Hikvision IP CCTV system tailored to the layout and operational requirements of the factory.
The installation included:
• 1 × Hikvision TandemVu 4MP PTZ camera with 15x optical zoom, AcuSense detection and ColorVu technology
• 2 × Hikvision bullet cameras providing external perimeter coverage
• 5 × Hikvision turret cameras monitoring internal production and working areas
• 1 × 16-channel Hikvision K-Series NVR with 8TB storage
The TandemVu PTZ camera provides wide area coverage with powerful zoom capability, allowing the customer to quickly check activity across the site while maintaining detailed surveillance where required.
Outcome
The completed system now provides comprehensive coverage across the egg production facility, allowing Ross and his team to monitor operations, improve site security and quickly review activity across key working areas.
With a combination of high-resolution Hikvision cameras, PTZ monitoring capability and reliable network connectivity, the system delivers a robust and professional CCTV solution for a busy agricultural production site.
